Under the hood, the Ultimate Lighting and Camera Tool consists of impressive number of features, We also planning to develop the tool further expanding its functionality and versatility.
Ultimate Lighting and Camera Tool Features:
- To create a light in your scene, open the Lighting Tool window and drag one of the Point Light, Spot Light, or Rect Light icons onto the scene.
- You can easily change the behavior and illumination of the light by choosing from a variety of function types.
- Apply masks to lights with just a few clicks.
- Change the light type quickly.
- Create light sensors for interacting with characters.
- Adjust the lightmaps for the entire scene or based on specific assets.
- Camera Manager Tool for easy setup angle-by-angle.
- Control your cameras easily.
- The HDRI Backdrop Manager creates HDRI with a few clicks.
Ultimate Lighting and Camera Tool Version 1.1 Release Notes
- Documentation Shortcut: Added a documentation shortcut to the tool menu for quick access.
Camera Manager Enhancements:
- Background Operations: All shortcut functions in the Camera Manager tool now operate in the background without needing to open the Camera Manager.
- New Camera Shortcut: Added Ctrl + Q as a shortcut to create a new camera in the current view in the Camera Manager tool.
Lights Tool Enhancements:
- IES Profiles: Added the ability to add and change IES profiles, including 25 default profiles in the Lights Tool.
- Additional Source Folder: Added an option for users to specify an additional source folder from their projects for IES profiles and light mask textures.
Lightmap Tool Enhancements:
- Added an option to uncheck the override setting and revert to default lightmap resolution values for meshes.
- Added an option to reset the min and max density values to their default settings.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the spotlight remained at a fixed rotation during light conversion.
V1.2 Update Notes:
- Bug Fix: Resolved an issue causing unexpected behavior during cooking for specific platforms.
