This is a standalone version of our Flag Generator, which was developed for our Medieval Village Megapack. This blueprint includes a variety of features to help you generate catenary-shaped flags between surfaces extremely easily and speed up your level creation. The blueprint automatically uses ray trace functionality to determine the distance and arc required to generate the flag. Users can also use the manual mode to adjust the spline points by themselves. The blueprint is pretty scalable to allow users to add their own flags, variables, and functions quickly. The flag generator includes features such as scale, rotation, wind, color, and spacing variables to allow you to customize the flags to your desired outcome.
Unreal Engine 5.3 Update:
You need to add “r.Nanite.AllowSplineMeshes=1” under “[/Script/Engine.RendererSettings]” In your “DefaultEngine.ini” folder to enable nanite for spline meshes.
